2004 Chris-Craft Roamer 43 Heritage Edition

2004 Chris-Craft Roamer 43 Heritage Edition for sale, side-on at anchor off a Queensland beach, listed by Davis Marine Brokerage

PRICE AU $249,000

Lying Keppel Bay Marina, Yeppoon QLD

A 13.30 m Chris-Craft Roamer 43 Heritage Edition with twin Volvo Penta TAMD75EDC 480hp shaft-drive diesels showing 1,451 and 1,432 hours, a Westerbeke generator, bow thruster, two reverse-cycle air conditioners, two private cabins each with its own bathroom, and a 3.5 m AB inflatable tender on davits. Lying Keppel Bay Marina, Yeppoon, Queensland. AU $249,000, and a reluctant sale: the owners are relocating.

The Roamer 43 pairs Chris-Craft’s retro-classic styling with modern fibreglass construction, and the Heritage Edition adds the teak accents outside and the traditional teak interior with its inlaid maple Chris-Craft logo table. This one is set up for cruising rather than day trips: generator, air conditioning, 1,500 litres of fuel, two bathrooms and the tender already on the davits.

On deck

A hardtop over the helm and cockpit, with front and side clears and all-round covers for when she is left on the berth. The helm carries a timber wheel, Raymarine displays and the engine instruments, with seating and a table in the cockpit behind it. Teak on the deck, an electric anchor winch forward, and the 3.5 m AB inflatable with its 8.8hp Tohatsu outboard on davits aft.

Below

Two private cabins, each with its own bathroom. Forward is the master with a centreline queen island berth and cedar-lined hanging lockers; its head has a dedicated cylindrical shower stall. Aft is the guest cabin with twin berths that convert to a large double, served by the second head and shower. Both toilets are Vacuflush. The saloon has a large curved Ultraleather settee opposite the galley around the inlaid maple logo table, a wall-mounted TV and a Fusion sound system, and the two reverse-cycle air conditioners keep the interior cool in Queensland.

The galley is L-shaped with a Corian worktop and solid timber cabinetry: two fridges, a freezer, a 240-volt ice maker, a microwave and a two-burner electric cooktop. Hot water is electric and engine-heated.

Engineering

Twin Volvo Penta TAMD75EDC diesels of 480hp each on shaft drives, showing 1,451 hours port and 1,432 starboard, for 20 knots at cruise and 26 knots flat out. Westerbeke marine generator, bow thruster, 1,500 litres of fuel and 400 litres of water, 240-volt and 12-volt systems, engine-room fire suppression and Raymarine electronics. EPIRB, flares and life jackets aboard. The photo set includes the hull, shafts and props out of the water.

Why this one

Two private cabins, each with its own bathroom, a generator and air conditioning for staying out on the hook, and the tender, outboard and davits in the price. The Queensland registration runs to September 2027, and it is a reluctant sale: the owners are relocating. Call Sam Davis on 0408 864 111 to talk it through.
