Spending time on Pittwater in your boat is always fun, but dealing with the boat’s waste tank can be tricky. That’s why we’ve put together a list of places around Pittwater where you can easily and properly empty your boat’s waste tank.
Pump Out Facilities Available
The Quays Marine Centre
The Quays Marine Centre, over on Pittwater Road in Church Point, is one of a few marinas in the Pittwater area where you can go to empty out your boat’s waste tank. Their pump-out station is right next to where you can get fuel, which is super convenient. Just give the office a call ahead of time before you use their pump-out service.
OPERATING HOURS:
Monday – Friday : 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday – Sunday : 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Holmeport Marinas
Over at The Holmeport Marinas, you’ll find one of the top family-owned marinas on the Northern Beaches. It’s located at 2A Mccarrs Creek Road, and they’ve got a super handy waste pumpout station that they installed in 2019 – it’s the fastest one you’ll find around Pittwater. Just be sure to give them a ring before you come by to use it.

Monday – Friday : 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday – Sunday : 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Royal Motor Yacht Club
The next stop is the RMYC Broken Bay at 46 Prince Alfred Parade, Newport. They offer pump-out facilities to both members and visitors of the Club. It is free to members of the Club with a fuel purchase. Without a fuel purchase, the pump-out service costs $20.00.

Kuring-gai Motor Yacht Club
Lastly, Kuring-gai Motor Yacht Club, located at 1 Cottage Point Road, offers convenient pump-out facilities to the public, making it easy for boaters to dispose of waste. The club also manages 84 moorings at Cottage Point for the use of its members’ vessels.
